At 12 years old, Tammy Gallagher began her babysitting career and quickly realized her true passion for babies. Shortly after, she decided to pursue a career as a schoolteacher. After graduating from West Chester University in 2004 with her Teaching Certificate, she taught kindergarten for the next five years where her passion for babies continued to grow.
One summer, she was invited to do some overnight “nanny” care for a family with twin babies. Through the mother of these babies, Tammy learned what it meant to be a postpartum doula. She was in absolute Heaven! When she found out that she could provide this service as a business, there was nothing stopping her. Tammy trained as a postpartum doula and began working with families immediately.
Over the past 20 plus years, Tammy has helped welcome hundreds of babies. She truly understands the physical and emotional hurdles and challenges of postpartum. She and her trusted team of postpartum baby doulas are here to help support you and your family in finding balance and serenity in your new life with your baby. They offer a variety of services including post birth recovery, lactation support, formula feeding, and general infant care.
In early 2024, Tammy expanded her business by building a team of certified birth doulas. Tammy and the birth doulas are here to support you through every step of the birthing process. They offer a variety of services including prenatal support, birth, labor, immediate postpartum, and postpartum visit support.
Today, Tammy lives in Springfield, PA with her amazingly supportive husband, Brian, and their 3 beautiful children. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys family vacations, spending time at the beach, camping, volunteering at her children’s school, and loves her role as a Girl Scout Leader for her daughter’s troop.
